A SIMPLE IDEA
We started with a simple idea: bring the best of modern beer to Australia and build something worth being part of. Since opening our doors in Newstead in 2018, we've grown into a collection of venues and experiences that we're genuinely proud of, each one different, but all of them unmistakably Range.
We like to think of our company less like a brewery and more like a social club where everyone's invited. Whether you're pulling up a stool at the Range taproom, catching a sunset at Patio, or settling into the comfort of Rays- the experience is always the same. Great beer, incredible food, warm service, and a space that makes you want to stay a little longer.

FOREVER EXPLORING, FOREVER EVOLVING.
Our ethos has never changed: forever exploring, forever evolving. Every week we brew something new. Every beer release is an opportunity to push further- new hop combinations, new techniques, new styles. We're not interested in making the same beer twice when there's so much left to explore.
That same restlessness is what drove us beyond the brewery. We wanted to build spaces that matched the quality of what was in the glass: considered, welcoming, and genuinely hard to replicate. Spaces where locals feel at home and first-timers feel like they've found something worth coming back to.
We also take seriously the responsibility that comes with making beer. Brewing is resource-intensive, and we're committed to doing it thoughtfully. Quality over quantity, always.
HOW IT STARTED
Range was dreamt up in a quiet pub in Bethnal Green, London, over a pint and a conversation about what modern beer could look like back home. Founders Matt McIver and Gerard Martin had developed a deep appreciation for the craft while travelling, and came back to Brisbane with a clear vision: small-batch, high-quality, always fresh, and always evolving.
We opened in Newstead in 2018 and haven't stopped moving since.

Sun-soaked, relaxed, and always pouring something worth staying for. Patio is our neighbourhood bar in the heart of Paddington. It's the kind of place that makes a Tuesday feel like a Friday.
Rays by Range | Camp Hill
Cosy, come-as-you-are, and deeply local. Rays is the neighbourhood bar Camp Hill deserved. It's warm, unpretentious, and always worth the visit.
