Best Laid Plans - DIPA
Best Laid Plans is a brand new Double IPA that we’ve brewed for NZ week this year. We have assaulted this beer with the freshest Kiwi hops, featuring a luscious combination of Tropical Fusion, Tropical Fusion Hopkief, Motueka & Eggers Riwaka. In the glass, this one’s that signature Kiwi milky haze, pouring a gorgeous soft shade of yellow. The aromas are absolutely exploding with ripe tropical fruit salad, fresh passionfruit and ripe mango. Take a sip and prepare to be overwhelmed with a creamy, juicy assault of bright orange, passionfruit cremé, peach gummy rings and a sticky and saturating mango backend. Finishing super soft and saturating, with a crazy low bitterness, an absolute showcase of modern NZ Hop exploration.

Our Double IPAs are our amped-up take on the modern hazy DIPA — bigger, bolder and intensely saturated with hop character. The higher ABV allows us to push dry hopping further, building layers of flavour while keeping the beer smooth and balanced.
Expect a rush of tropical fruit from the first crack. Typically passionfruit, melon, papaya, lychee and ripe stonefruit shine through. Intensely hazy with a glowing orange hue, these beers are full-bodied, juicy and expressive without tipping into harsh bitterness.
